Santa was so good this year !!

Holidays week is almost over and we spent most of our time with family in town.On Thursday night we hosted dinner at our house.. I prepared lots of sarma and 2 kinds of burek, tons of mashed potatoes, 3 kinds of desert... On Friday we slept in till almost 9 am and then had small and very simple morning. we were watching Nadia opening all of the Santa's presents.She got a nice tree stump tent and Santa left all of her presents inside.It was so much fun watching Nadia open every present. Around lunch time we were invited to Aunt Barbara's house.. and we were in for huge surprise there... there was even more presents from Santa under Barbara's tree...there was a lot of stuff for Nadia..but from all of the thing she got, she loved her new water bottle and pink back pack the most of everything,she would NOT consider putting them down not even for a second.She had so much fun running around with her cousins Blake and Lyric that we decided to skip her nap time.. she did very good and didn't have not even one melt down.Next morning she slept in again like a good girl.Here is few photos from Friday.

We went to visit NorthernLight School- Winter Fair-2009 and we had such a wonderful time again... Nadia is such a great social bee, everyone one loves her, her girlfriends can not wait to see her.. ..

HERE IS HOW WE STARTED TODAYS EVENTS:

Nadia and I were running late for the puppet show and once we got inside classroom, all of the little friends were already sitting in the dark and listening the story. There was a mixed group of older kids , small ones and parents. I could not quite see who is sitting where, but in just few seconds of getting a chair for Nadia , her frined Gorgie ( 2,3 y.o) noticed her and said very loudly... ohhh look ,there is Nadia.... and then Rose (2,6y.o. and Nadia's BFF) had to come over and sit next to her.. so she did, then Nadia noticed Rose next to her and started to giggle loud and happy (everyone was laughing ) then Nadia got up from her chair to give hug to Rose, and Rose said in loud voice:" Nadia loves me..." it was so cute...(everyone was laughing) and then puppet show continued on...

Thanks Giving 2009

It was wonderful again.... we were invite to cousin Shane's house... Nadia's aunt Judi totaly out did her self with this dinner... yummm . Everyone one had a good time .. and we had so much to be thankful for...I think that Thanks Giving is my absolute the favorite holiday in USA, I can relate to that so well. Nadia was such a good girl..

In memory of Martin Pollock 1996 -2007

Today, I am sad for my loss but thankful that I had opportunity to share most wonderful 11.5 years with my beloved German Sheppard- Martin Pollock.. He was the best dog living during his times.. and in my heart I will never get over the fact I lost him forever. November marks 4 years with out him..and I still cry on just a thought of him.
I loved you so much my dear Martin, and I know you loved me back even more... thank you so much...

November fun

Past weekend was a lot of fun for me and Nadia.
Brad went hunting for few days , girls were home alone. On Saturday morning we hosted pool party for few good friends, then that same day we went to birthday party at our friends house.
Sunday, Nadia started ice skating lessons.. it was quite interesting experience as I found out that I need to have ice skates too and having boots on the ice is not permitted. SO, poor Nadia got super short ride with me to the center of the ice and back... o poor little girl , she was in tears and so sad, but she still didn't wanted to go alone with new teacher... I felt quite bad for her.. then on the end of the class our friend dropped of her tired 2 y.o.daughter to me and asked if Nadia wanted to go with her .. and she DID WANTED WANTED TO GO!! OO I was so happy.... it lasted only few minutes but I could tell right away that Nadia had great balance and coordination in her feet... she was all smiles and squeaks , I was so happy for her .. I can not wait until next time and then I will take my camera with me...

Hallowen 2009

We went to down town twice today for trick -a -treating... it was so exciting that Nadia needed to have a nap... Brad and I loved every minute too, At the post office she scored her first true lolly pop.. and ooooohh boy was that yummy... by the time she finished with it, she was completely covered in orange sugar slime, including all of hair stuck ,firmly glued to her face...such a funny happy girl....

The other day I was looking for some other photos( that I will publish later) and found this one from one year ago and few from this year party....... this year I baked that b-day cake myself.. it was so yummmy with berries inside. We had several b-day parties for Nadia but the one in park with her friends was a lot of fun..Nadia was singing happy birthday song for days after...

Next American idol

Few days ago I was on the phone with my oldest friend Jasmina. We know each other since we were 2 years old,and to this day we feel for each other in the same way we did as children. It is so awesome to have her in my life... after I told her how much our Nadia is singing lately, she told me that I MUST start recording little songs, she told me that her family truly enjoy video clips from the past. So here I am posting Nadia's song from last night, we were in our kitchen eating hot pumpkin seeds..camera was right there and I got a short clip... it is so cute...
