It is summer time in Adirondacks and time is flying by.Days are long but there is so many things to do.
Weather has been wonderful and warm. In few weeks we are traveling to Croatia for visit with parents and family. It is short stay this time, we are saving our vacation time for September travel to Moscow.
My reason for writing today is, that we just got the best news that our good Friends Shelle and John Pendergrast have finally met their wonderful son Luke. They have been searching for Luke as long as we have been searching for our child. They went trough same rough time with other agency, but on the end it all worked it self out . They followed the signs and found a son, that is just perfect for them. It is a very happy day for them and for us also knowing that our trip is just around the corner. Congratulations to Luke Pendergrast and his parents!!!!

ADOPTION TIME LINE
- September 27th- Nadia entered USA
- September 16th 2008 - we are waiting for 10 days till we can bring her home
- September 12th 2008 - we had a court date for baby Nadia
- Sept. 4th- we got the court dates, yeeeeey
- August 8th 2008- we left Moscow City to visit Croatia for 4 days
- August 7th 2008 - we signed petition to adopt Nadia
- August 6th 2008 - Nadia's 1st birthday, we celebrated together with big cake and one candle
- August 5th 2008- We met our baby Nadia
- August 1st 2008 - WE GOT THE CALL, that there is a cute and healthy 13 month old baby girl waiting for us in Mosocw City
- June 2008 -Dossier sent in Moscow
- June 2008 - Dossier ready to be sent to Moscow City
- May 2008- completed our 4th dossier in 4 days and mailed it to LHA
- May 2008- signed up with new agency- LIGHT HOUSE ADOPTIONS
- May 2008- Broke contract with CHI and got our money back, full refund.
- May 2008- CHI failed agian to register us in MC, some other parent got to be rigisterd
- April 2008- getting ready for 4th Home study update
- April 2008- CHI failed to reigster us in Moscow City , they registerd some other parents
- March 2008- CHI told us Moscow City is where they will register us
- March 2008 - CHi still can not decide what region to send us to
- February 2008-under huge press of CHI we changed age up to 4y.o
- February 2008 - we got ready for different region,any region in Russia
- February 2008 - CHI tried to talk us in to changing age and sex of the child
- February 2008 -CHI failed to register our dossier in Kaliningrad
- Januray 2008- CHI failed to register our dossier in Kaliningrad
- December 2007 -CHI got accreditation in Russia
- July 2007 -we found out that CHI never got us registerd in Kaliningrad
- June 2007- 12 month later, CHI still do not have accreditation
- May 2007- updated our 3rd home study
- June 2006- CHI send us to Kaliningrad region and told to wait 12 months
- May 2006 - updated our 2nd Home Study
- Jan.2006 - signed contract with CHILDRENS HOPE INTERNATIONAL from St.Louis
- December 2005- got letter back, stating that Brad( USA) is not Croatian citizen and we cant adopt healthy baby, there is more adoptive parents then children in Cro.
- October 2005 - personal letter to Minstar of Soc.Serv.in Croatia
- August 2005- spent entire month in Croatia,visiting at least 20 SW offices and orphanages
- May 2005- mailed 120 letters to Croatian Social Services
- April 2005 - 1st home study completed
- January 2005 - Started with Croatian adoption process
- December 2004 - 10 years that we found eachother and decided to find our baby
